The Sage and Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse That Darkens Gray Hair, Naturally

Did you know that your hair may start graying despite the fact that you are still young? Most people don’t feel like dying their hair, and sage is actually the best natural solution to their problem.

Sage has been used in the treatment of sore throat, inflammation, depression, gum issues, etc. it makes your chicken and root veggies taste better.

But, sage can also do wonders to your skin and hair. It prevents hair loss, and strengthens hair follicles. You can also use it as a natural hair tint for dark hair. It won’t provide instant results, but your hair will get darker over time.

Sage and apple cider vinegar hair rinse

This rinse restores pH balances, and removes residues. You can use it as a natural conditioner and detangler. Garden sage works best for this purpose.


  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • A handful of fresh sage / 2 tbsp. dried sage
  • 2 cups water

You will also need a tea kettle, a bowl, a funnel, and a cruet bottle


Bring the water to a boil, and pour it over your herbs. Steep for 15-20 minutes. Use some of your sage tea to soothe sore throat. Don’t forget to sweeten it with honey.

Strain the tea, and pour in the sugar. Transfer the liquid into a cruet bottle. It eases the application.


Use the sage rinse after shampooing our hair. Don’t worry about the vinegar smell, it will be gone in a minute. You can catch the liquid in a basin, and reapply it again.

Squeeze out he excess liquid, and wrap your hair in a towel.

Use this rinse regularly, and enjoy your new hair shade.
